Just a beautiful rich tone, it sounds like you are playing in a big concert hall! Masterful fingering with a lot of emotion coming through in the delicate time changes. The bottom end might be a bit boomy but could easily be rolled off with a mastering eq. Other than that, just gorgeous! Love your playing man!

I don't know why, but this reminds me of kids TV. Cool playing once again - adding yet another string to your already impressive bow (or fretboard...) :)) (Very Happy) Playing Guitar

There is such a beautiful depth to your guitar tone, that's the first thing I notice. This playing is truly captivating and holds the attention. It would do the same to a whole audience, I'm sure, which is where it ought to be heard. Not a pin would drop! It's sensitive yet bold. Nice one Chris Thumbs Up

Very sensitive beginning..
Super tone.. so warm and rich..
Love your timing and feel..
It's sometimes so easy to get lost behind a wall of distortion and effects and Tim's right... so nice sometimes to hear what a guitar sounds like..
Beautifully played..
:)) (Very Happy)

The title comes straight out of a Dowland book. The "toy puffe" in many Dowland books can actually be read to be very dirty sinc f's and s's were the same in that Renaissance script.

It's a very enjoyable piece and your playing is really quite fabulous. I love the use of the suspensions to increase the tension. You have a good interpretation of the piece. Good use of rubatos to end the phrases. It really helps settle the tension that the piece evokes.

I can hear the Renbourn in it. He really was a fabulous arranger. It has a feeling of being much older than it is but with a 70's folk-style sensibility. The arrangement reminds me a bit of Stephen Grossman a little and some of the new agey styled guitarists that are out there. It's a nice juxtaposition and I could listen to this all day.

This is a really boring piece. You are obviously alright at playing the guitar but I would prefer to hear some drums on this track to give it a bit of life. No offense mate.

Boring? "fatsmacm" (above) registered two weeks ago, made a few negative comments, and hasn't returned.

Your playing is beautiful, Chris. Nodding
